Bar Foot Rail — Everything You Need to KnowUpdated a month ago

A bar foot rail adds both comfort and style to your bar setup — giving guests a place to rest their feet while they sit and enjoy.

What comes in a foot rail kit?

  • Tubing: The long metal bar that forms the rail itself, typically in stainless steel or brass.

  • Brackets: These attach the tubing to your bar. We have different styles depending on your design and mounting needs.

  • End Caps: Decorative pieces that finish off the ends of the tubing for a clean, polished look.

  • Mounting Hardware: Everything needed to securely install the foot rail.

Elbow fittings (for corners or turns) are sold separately and only needed if your setup requires them.

Installing Your Foot Rail

Installation is straightforward if you’re handy with basic tools:

  1. Measure your bar and cut the tubing to size.

  2. Attach the brackets to the tubing and secure them to your bar.

  3. Finish by adding end caps for a complete look.

Bar foot rails are popular in both commercial bars and home bar setups — they add a professional finish and extra comfort for guests.

Types of Brackets We Offer:

  1. Combination Brackets:
These mount to both the face of the bar and the floor — sturdy and easy to install. Perfect for busy spaces with lots of foot traffic.

  2. Bar Mount Brackets:
These attach directly to the face of the bar, with no floor contact. It’s a sleek, clean look and allows for custom height placement. You’ll need access to the back of the bar for installation.

  3. Floor Mount Brackets:
Super sturdy and mounted to the floor. A great option if you don’t want to attach anything to the bar itself.

  4. Center Post Brackets:
These sit lower (around 3.5 inches off the floor) and are great for smaller spaces or lower bar stools.

  5. 90-Degree Brackets:
These attach to both the floor and the face of the bar for added stability, especially at corners.
